Cooking class Hanoi

Vietnamese cuisine is one of my favourites and given we had a free day in Hanoi, we booked to do a cooking class. And this one was very much a ‘hands on’ class, shopping in the markets for the ingredients, and mixing and chopping everything but the meat. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the alarmingly purple desert – a soupy mix of sweet potato, ginger and sugar.

I’m having a last bbq here before I head back to France, and we’re going to do spring rolls as starters for the masses .... hopefully reproducing the masterpieces we turned out on the day. We’re very lucky with the number of Asian supermarkets we have here, so getting all the ingredients won’t be a problem.
